Boris Sobolev

Boris Sobolev is a Canadian healthcare researcher. He is the author of "Waiting Time Data Analysis in Health Services Research and Healthcare Evaluation with Computer Modeling: Concepts, Methods and Applications", and is the editor-in-chief of the Health Services Research series published by Springer Science+Business Media. Sobolev studied applied mathematics at Tomsk State University, received his PhD in applied statistics from the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1989, and completed postdoctoral training at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Austria in 1990. In 2008, he moved to the University of British Columbia, Canada, as a professor in the School of Population and Public Health.
