Industry Leaders Bring More Business Expertise to Leader in Causal AI

The new Advisory Board members join existing members Scott Cunningham, Paul Hunermund, Nick Hungington-Klein, Dave Bartlett, Evren Eryurek, Boris Sobolev, Paul Bleicher and Alan F Nugent.

Sandy Carter, MBA
As one of the country’s foremost authorities on Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, Sandy Carter has been a notable expert working with AI since 2013 and with Blockchain since 2019. She has had a distinguished career holding leadership positions as a Chief Operations Officer, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Sales Officer working for Amazon Web Services and IBM. She is a pioneer and at the forefront of AI and other leading-edge technology driving innovation, product development, and capturing new sales markets. Sandy’s achievements have been globally recognized earning numerous awards including being named WLDA’s The AI Executive Champion of the Year, Business Transformational Leader of the Year, CNN Top 10 Women in Tech, Top 10 Leader in Responsible AI, and the Most Influential Sales Leader, to name a few.

Nelson Hsu
Nelson Hsu is a high-tech industry veteran having held many executive roles in product management, product marketing, strategy and business development. He is currently the Red Hat Product Marketing Director for the Ansible Business Unit. He leads partner initiatives in the areas of Generative AI and Automation, specifically with System Integrators, Hyperscalers and Strategic Partners. Nelson has an extensive background leading product and business development teams with IaaS/PaaS and availability and storage including verticals such as financial services, telecom and health sciences.

Buell Duncan
Buell Duncan is a technology executive, active as board director and senior advisor for emerging software companies. He was General Manager and CMO for a number of IBM businesses including Global Software, Cloud, Data and AI organizations. He was a leader in helping to establish the hybrid cloud business. Buell has been a senior executive for more than 24 years and was instrumental in expanding IBM’s partner ecosystem.
